We are pleased to announce the release of @helmeri_pirinen new Signature Rapid, a tribute to his national flag colors and his best canine friend, Pablo.⁠

It is extremely rare in our industry for one of the original freestyle riders to not just still be involved but thriving. What started as a the gift of a scooter from his godfather in 1999 led him to his first sponsorship and video appearance in @razorworldwide RVM3 in 2004. After Helmeri put himself on the map, he followed it up with a 20 year laundry list of achievements. Winning his first international competition in 2007 at the Extreme Battle in Tarto he came back to win it again in 2008 and 2009. Using this momentum he launched Finland’s first freestyle scooter shop and one of the first in the world, @finscootershop. After competing at the Montreux competition in Switzerland in 2010 he picked up eaglesupply and @therealdistrict as new sponsors; District releasing his signature deck and complete just this year; 2020.⁠

In 2011 FinScooter opened their first physical store in Helsinki; the same year Helmeri became the only non-French rider to win the prestigious Paris Street Jam followed by new sponsorship from @elytsfootwear in 2012 and in 2013 FinScooter built the first ever scooter rider owned indoor park.⁠

2016 was the year Helmeri began flowing on River Wheels and 2018 was the year FinScooter won the Best North-East Helsinki Business Award.⁠

In recent years Helmeri has judged many of the biggest events as one of the leading voices and authorities in the sport and has been seen on Finnish TV as one of the finalists on @bigbrothersuomi 2019 and speaking out against bullying and promoting youth sport and culture to drive positive change in this world.⁠
